Our Legal Data team is growing, and we are looking for a Data Solutions Analyst to join the team.

What Will You Be Doing?

Your role will involve handling both private and public data sets, collaborating closely with lawyers, and generating actionable insights that inform our strategic decisions.

Requirements:

Must have:

Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role for at least 3 years
High level proficiency in SQL, Python, and Microsoft Excel
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI, including creating dashboards
Exceptional communication skills, able to present data findings in a clear and compelling manner
Excellent analytical and creative problem solving skills
Experience using APIs to pull data from websites
High level English

Great if you also have:

Data science skills including clustering and LLMs
Experience scraping data using programming languages (e.g., Python libraries such as Selenium and Beautiful Soup)
Experience with data automation
Experience working with data vendors and evaluating data provider options

Nice to have:

Previous exposure to relevant open-source research tools (WEBINT/OSINT)
Previous exposure to legal databases and legal terminology

Responsibilities:

Identify, collect, and analyze data from diverse public and private sources.
Collaborate directly with our legal data team to understand their needs and provide data-driven insights.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Translate complex data into understandable, relevant, and actionable insights for lawyers and other stakeholders.
Create and present clear, visually compelling reports to share findings with the team.
Stay updated with the latest legal tech and data analysis trends, ensuring our company remains at the cutting edge.
