DESCRIPTION

Annapurna Labs, an Amazon company, is looking for a Software Development Manager to lead our Chip HAL team, which is responsible for building the next generation of networking products. We are seeking a candidate who can drive the development of critical hardware abstraction layers and boot firmware that power the world's largest cloud provider.
You will lead projects focused primarily on pre-silicon development activities, responsible for creating foundational firmware components including:

* Hardware abstraction layers for CPU interfaces and system interconnects
* Ethernet link management
* DDR driver development and memory initialization
* PCIe subsystem drivers
* Bootrom and secure boot flow implementation

As part of your role, you will lead projects in embedded software working on code that forms the foundation of AWS's infrastructure. Your projects' code enables the basic functionality of our custom silicon, running on millions of servers worldwide.

You will work in a dynamic, open, fast-paced environment, collaborating with multiple disciplines across hardware, firmware, and software teams globally. This is a unique opportunity to lead the development of fundamental technology that enables AWS's cloud infrastructure at unprecedented scale.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
