Software Engineer Team Lead

A global data company in the Proptech field develops AI and LLM-based technologies that analyze vast amounts of data, enabling the prediction of unique and profitable investment opportunities in commercial real estate.

The company was acquired by an American real estate giant listed in the Fortune 500, with a market value of approximately $20 billion.

The company employs over 100,000 people worldwide. The office in Israel has 40 employees and is part of the technology division.

Located in Tel Aviv, near a train station, they offer 2 days of remote work per week.

Role Overview:

Leading the Frontend domain within the team and handling cross-functional tasks with other teams both locally and globally (Madrid). Reporting to the Team Leader.

The team consists of backend, QA, and DevOps personnel, so this role will be the leading Frontend authority, a knowledge hub, and a mentor in the Frontend domain, raising the quality bar.

Development is primarily in Angular 16, with a bit of React and agnostic. A strong UI orientation and Pixel Perfect skills are required.

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in web development with Angular or similar JavaScript framework and 3rd party libraries

• Leadership mentality: strong communication skills, flexible thinking, ability to lead technical discussions, shape the product roadmap and build a positive tech-culture

• Strong understanding of front-end technologies and architecture, including HTML5, CSS3 and Sass with a proficient understanding of responsive design

• Experience in building pixel-perfect and stunning data visualizations, with a strong sense of user experience and a deep understanding of how users think.

• Experience in building in-house design systems

• Familiarity with back-end technologies and architecture

• A desire to collaborate closely with users, designers & testers to deliver quality software that solves problems
