Data Engineer

Join our dynamic Data Engineering team, who is responsible for the full-stack design and development of large-scale cloud-based Big Data, machine learning, and business platforms. Your work will optimize business performance in areas like product design, marketing, retention, and monetization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead data solutions, technical design, and development for data platforms.
• Design, develop, and operate ETL pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Build end-to-end data solutions by translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain heavily-used reports, visualizations, and dashboards.
• Hands-on development and delivery of BI solutions using technologies like Qlik Sense, Looker, or Tableau.
• Support the Data Science team in deploying, integrating, and monitoring machine learning models.
• Research and perform POCs on new data tools and technologies.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in Python and SQL.
• Expertise in writing efficient SQL queries and optimizing performance (SparkSQL/BigQuery is a plus).
• Experience in developing ETL processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with cloud solutions (AWS and Azure; GCP is an advantage).

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in BI dashboard development (Qlik Sense is an advantage).
• Experience building semantic layers.
• Background in statistics and data science.
• Experience with notebook solutions like Databricks, Jupyter, or Zeppelin.
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies.
