Optival is seeking a skilled and experienced HRBP and manager to lead our Human Resources and Organizational Development efforts. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in shaping and executing our human capital and development strategies while fostering a positive and engaging work environment that attracts, retains, and develops top talent.
Our goal for this position is for it to organically evolve into the role of Chief People Officer as our organization grows and develops. This progression will ensure that our organizational design and culture, as well as people-related policies and practices, align with and support our strategic objectives.

You’ll be responsible for developing and implementing an integrative set of HR systems and practice
Among the systems you’ll be developing are:
● Talent Acquisition, Retention and Development – You’ll be forecasting human capital needs and gaps, developing systems designed to to fill these gaps and then driving the hiring and on-boarding processes end-to-end for assigned roles (technical and business). You’ll also be responsible for maximizing Optival’s ability to retain key talent and source it internally by building and maintaining infrastructures for career development and succession planning.
● Performance Management – You’ll design, implement and support a fair, transparent and user-friendly, performance management system that drives learning at the individual, team and organizational levels, effectively informs other HR systems such as employee development and compensation, and reinforces Optival’s core norms and values.
● Total Rewards - You’ll be responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and administering a comprehensive compensation & benefits system that ensures market competitiveness, long-term talent retention and productivity, and a climate embracing fairness and work-life balance.
● Organizational Development & People Analytics – As a member of Optival’s strategic development team, you’ll be expected to initiate and lead organizational and HR efforts designed to facilitate the execution of the company’s business plan. More specifically, building on the data that you collect and analyze, you will be expected to recommend and execute changes in organizational design, information flow and reporting relationships, as well as in policies, practices and training. Additionally, you will be responsible for strengthening Optival’s entrepreneurial culture even as the organization grows and adopts more standardized practices.

Requirements
- Proven ability to develop and execute HR policies and practices consistent with and supportive of the firm’s business model
- Proven experience in developing, implementing and enhancing employee development, performance management and compensation systems
- Data analysis capabilities - you're not afraid of numbers, know how to analyze data using Microsoft Office and other analytic tools, and can effectively interpret and apply findings
- At least 5 years of managerial experience with 3+ years as an HRBP
- MBA or Masters in HR, Organization Studies, Psychology, Behavioral Science
- Basic understanding of managerial accounting and ability to understand financial reports
- Ability to deal with conflict effectively and to manage difficult employee relations situations confidently and calmly
- Strong oral and written communication skills in Hebrew and English
Would be great (and considered an advantage) if you have:
- Experience in Adtech; General understanding of the industry and industry trends
- Understanding of Israel labor law
- Familiarity with the challenges faced by a small but growing company
