Role Description

As a SOC Analyst , you will be an integral part of the Security Operations Center (SOC) team, responsible for monitoring, detecting, analyzing, and responding to security events and incidents. This role requires at least 2 years of experience in a SOC or related cybersecurity environment.

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a SOC or cybersecurity role.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint detection and response (EDR) systems, firewalls, and antivirus software.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
• Knowledge of common attack vectors, threat actors, and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).

Certifications (preferred): Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH).

Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data and identify patterns.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
