Business Analyst – DeviantArt

Job Description

DeviantArt, an active and growing social network which allows users to monetize their work, is seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Analyst to join our team. Reporting directly to the Head of Data, the BA will play a crucial role in supporting various functions within the company, focusing on improving the products and business through the analytical findings.

• Create an impact on the DeviantArt brand by helping make informed decisions on the future of the product
• Collaborate with various teams across the company to steer products and the organization using data and analytics
• Provide insights and support to all levels of the company, ensuring that knowledge is shared beyond management and product teams
• Work with large amounts of data and build tools to streamline processes
• Build and maintain reports, dashboards and metrics, and monitor the integrity and validity of the data
• Plan, conduct and interpret the results of A/B tests in order to optimize existing and newly implemented product features
• Understand user behaviors such as churn, segmentation, trends and lifetime value
• Work with a geographically distributed team, with flexibility to have some meetings during evening hours
  
  

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of practical experience as a data, product or web analyst
• High level of English and great communication skills
• Deep understanding of online businesses and approaches to analyzing online user behavior and social network experiences – an advantage
• Excellent business judgment, analytic and strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
• Fully proficient in SQL and Excel for quantitative analysis – Python knowledge is an advantage
• Proficiency in visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Hands-on experience in running and analyzing A/B tests – statistical testing is an advantage
