Software Engineering Manager - Financial Integrity

Financial Integrity organization prevents fraud, money laundering, and other financial crimes on Meta’s >100 fintech products. Financial Integrity foundations teams build a world-class platform for enabling this complex engineering and machine learning task on a very large scale. We have a critical role in Meta's commitment to protect its users and advertisers and maintain trust across all of Meta’s products. We’re looking for Software Engineering Managers with progressive technical experience, a demonstrated progression of management scope, sharp coding skills, and a passion for managing outstanding engineers in a fast-paced environment.By joining this team, you will get lead impactful and noble work of preventing illegal activities take advantage of Meta Fintech products, work with top talented engineers, and influence the team direction and strategy.This position is in our Tel-Aviv office.

Software Engineering Manager - Financial Integrity Responsibilities:

• Be an effective people manager then can drive results and create a positive culture
• Work with your team and XFN partners to define and influence strategy
• Drive roadmap creation and execution
• Mentor and support engineers' growth and success, help them to find and focus on their strengths
• Champion engineering and operational excellence, establishing metrics and processes for regular assessment and improvement
  
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proven track record of supporting technical teams
• Experience supporting backend engineering teams
• Strong problem solving skills and background in coding
• Demonstrated ability to manage technical teams
• Knowledge of growing and evolving teams and/or organisations
• BS / MS in Computer Science (In lieu of degree, relevant work experience)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience of delivering real world impact by solving high scalability engineering problems
• Be willing to travel and collaborate with teams and partners in the US
• Experience in Fintech/Regtech/Cyber defense
