Lead Data Analyst

About Us:

Pixel Pie is an up and coming mobile game studio based in Tel Aviv, founded by industry veterans and backed by leading gaming companies and investors. We’re working on a new game, based on a massively popular casual mechanic with a multiplayer twist. 

We are looking for an exceptional and experienced Game Analyst with a minimum of 4 years experience to join us as part of the core team and help shape the future of the team and the game.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and implement the company’s BI strategy.
• Collaborate with game designers, developers and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and ensure BI solutions meet those needs.
• Recruit, mentor and manage a team of BI analysts.
• Conduct complex data analysis to support game development and business decision-making.
• Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to provide actionable insights.
• Oversee data integration processes to ensure seamless data flow between systems.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of BI systems and processes.

Requirements: 

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a data analyst, at least some of which in a gaming company. 
• Fluency in SQL or other big data querying languages.
• Deep knowledge of game data analytics processes, from gathering to analysis.
• Familiarity with data analysis/visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
• BS degree in math, statistics or equivalent.
• A detail-oriented, organized person with outstanding communication skills at macro and micro levels.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment.
