Art Director

The Art Director will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity of Urban Sophistication. This individual will lead the creative team, overseeing the development and execution of all visual materials, from concept to final production. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fashion, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for creating compelling and cohesive visual content.

Key Responsibilities:

Concept Development

• Collaborate with the Creative Director and other stakeholders to develop innovative visual concepts that align with the brand’s vision and goals.
• Create mood boards, sketches, and prototypes to communicate ideas effectively.

Design Oversight

• Ensure all visual materials, including lookbooks, advertisements, packaging, and social media content, are cohesive and on-brand.

Campaign Management

• Oversee the creation and execution of seasonal campaigns, product launches, and promotional materials.
• Coordinate with marketing, merchandising, and production teams to ensure timely delivery of all visual assets.

Quality Control

• Review and approve all designs, ensuring they meet the brand’s high standards for quality and aesthetics.
• Maintain consistency in visual style across all platforms and materials.

Trend Analysis

• Stay current with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
• Incorporate new trends and innovations into the brand’s visual strategy to keep it fresh and relevant.

Brand Consistency

• Develop and maintain brand guidelines to ensure a consistent visual language across all touchpoints.
• Ensure that all visual content aligns with the brand’s identity and messaging.

Creative Problem Solving

• Address and resolve any design-related issues or challenges that arise during a project.
• Adapt to changing project requirements and constraints with innovative solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fashion Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Art Director, preferably within the fashion industry.
• Strong portfolio showcasing creative work and successful campaigns.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Strong understanding of fashion trends, visual storytelling, and brand identity.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
