Senior Front-End Engineer

Vidazoo is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer with a client-side focus to join our Development team as a key member. You will work on improving our video infrastructure, applications, and customization services. Our complex system requires a deep understanding of client-server architecture, integrating multiple sophisticated products. This role offers a dynamic environment where you can grow, innovate, and influence various aspects of algorithms, advanced client-side operations, and intricate backend infrastructure. Our development team works closely with departments such as business development, product, monetization, and operations and maintains ongoing interactions with other development teams within our R&D division. You will play a crucial role in the team, impacting business outcomes daily. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, effective interpersonal communication, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Requirements:

• Solid understanding of client/server architecture.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript is essential.
• Strong knowledge of HTML and at least five years of experience with Vanilla JavaScript in the browser.
• Comprehensive understanding of objects, prototypes, event handling, cross-browser support, DOM, Ajax, CORS, event-loop, and performance optimization.
• Server-side development experience in Node.js.
• Familiarity and/or experience with Redis, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Experience working in UNIX/Linux environments.
• Ability to write modular and reusable code.
• A B.S. in Computer Science or Mathematics from a recognized university is an advantage.
• Strong programming, analytical, and design skills.
• A self-motivated and quick learner.
