Product Lead – Technical Service Department at the Manufacturer's Site

The technical service organization is a global network that serves all Biosense Webster customers worldwide. The technical service department at the manufacturer's site is involved in the entire product lifecycle, from development involvement to post-release field support, as well as representing the field's voice throughout the development stages.

Role Overview

·      Provides a comprehensive view of the product from its development to field service support and improvements in existing products.

·      Offers exposure to the global environment, familiarity with the field and development bodies within the organization.

Responsibilities Include:

·      Involvement in developing new products.

o  Representing the service body in all company development and operation projects.

o  Establishing service requirements for products in new projects and monitoring execution.

o  Defining service tools and testability for new products.

o  Developing service procedures for products in the development process.

·      Supporting the service for company’s life cycle management.

o  Assisting in writing service procedures for released products.

o  Maintaining and training these procedures throughout the product lifecycle.

o  Developing effective training programs for service engineers.

o  Working with complex information systems for development and service management.

Position Requirements:

·      Engineer in Biomedical/Software/Hardware/System Engineering/Mechanical - a must

·      At least 3 years of experience in the medical systems field – a significant advantage.

·      Knowledge and experience in remote service frameworks for medical products, including implementing control, monitoring, training, and change systems – a significant advantage.

·      Training ability and development of training tools.

·      Familiarity with service processes in the company and working with customers – a significant advantage.

·      Ability to work independently and in a team, motivating people in a matrix structure.

·      Good interpersonal skills, creativity, and ability to work with overseas colleagues and the global service team.

·      Familiarity with project management methodologies – an advantage.
