About MANNA

MANNA – Recipes & Cooking is building a new home for food, recipes, and culinary creators.

MANNA helps people turn food inspiration from Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and the web into recipes they can actually save, organize, discover, and cook.

The product is already live and includes recipe importing, personal collections, discovery, menus, cooking tools, and AI-powered capabilities built specifically around food and recipes.

We are now building the core team that will help take MANNA from an existing product into its next stage.

We are looking for a Product Lead to join MANNA’s core team and take a central role in shaping what the product becomes.

You will work closely with the founder and technical team to understand users, identify the most important product opportunities, define what we should build next, and turn those decisions into experiences people want to come back to.

This is a hands-on early-stage role.

It is not just about maintaining a backlog, writing requirements, or coordinating development. We are looking for someone who can think deeply about user behavior, challenge assumptions, explore ideas, define product flows, and take real ownership of the product.

A strong understanding of UX is important. The ability to work hands-on in Figma and design flows or interfaces is a significant advantage, but we are primarily looking for a strong product thinker and builder.

• Shape product strategy and help define what MANNA should build and what it should not
• Turn user problems and opportunities into clear product concepts and features
• Own features from early thinking through UX, specification, development, launch, and iteration
• Understand how people discover, save, organize, cook, and share food
• Improve onboarding, activation, discovery, engagement, and retention
• Help evolve MANNA from a recipe utility into a consumer social product
• Work with user feedback, analytics, and behavioral data to identify friction and opportunities
• Define and improve user flows across the mobile experience
• Work closely with engineering to turn concepts into practical, high-quality implementations
• Prototype and test ideas quickly before over-investing in them
• Help establish the product processes and standards of an early-stage company

You might come from product management, product design, UX, or a hybrid background.

What matters more is that you can think like an owner of the product.

We are looking for someone with:

• Strong product judgment and an instinct for what makes consumer products work
• Experience building digital products, preferably mobile and consumer-facing
• Strong understanding of user behavior, UX, interaction design, and usability
• Ability to move from an ambiguous problem to a clear product solution
• Experience working closely with engineers
• Comfort using analytics, experiments, user research, and feedback to make decisions
• Ability to prioritize aggressively in an early-stage environment
• High level of independence, curiosity, and ownership
• Ability to think strategically while still getting into the details
• Genuine interest in building a company and product over the long term

Hands-on Figma and UI/UX design capabilities are a strong advantage.

Experience with consumer apps, social products, creator platforms, marketplaces, food-tech, growth products, or early-stage startups is also an advantage, but none of these are strict requirements.

This is an early-stage core-team opportunity with significant responsibility and influence over the direction of the product and company.

At this stage, there is no salary attached to the role. The position is initially equity-based, with meaningful equity and vesting structured according to the level of responsibility, commitment, and long-term involvement.
