Technical Writer

C2A Security is a dynamic and successful startup. We seek a skilled Technical Writer with a cybersecurity background and a keen eye for details to join our dynamic marketing team. The Technical Writer will report directly to the VP of Marketing and will be responsible for creating, editing, and maintaining high-quality technical documentation, user guides, white papers, product presentations, and other marketing materials. The ideal candidate will have the ability to translate complex technical concepts into easily understandable content and a passion for clear and effective communication.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Create, revise, and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, installation guides, FAQs, presentations, and API documentation
• Translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and accurate content tailored for different audiences, including customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
• Work closely with the engineering, product management, and sales teams to gather and understand technical information
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align technical content with marketing strategies and adjacent programs
• Develop content plans and schedules to ensure timely delivery of documentation
• Manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously and ensure consistency and accuracy across all technical documents
• Edit and proofread documents to ensure clarity, grammar, and consistency – in design and language
• Conduct regular reviews and updates of existing documentation to ensure accuracy and relevance
• Assist in the creation of white papers, case studies, and technical blogs that support marketing programs
• Provide technical input and review for marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations, and website content

What You Need for The Role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Communications, English, Computer Science, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in technical writing or a related field
• Proven experience in cybersecurity, network security, cloud security, or related domains
• Proven experience in creating technical documentation for software products
• Experience in working within a marketing department or closely with marketing teams is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to quickly grasp new technologies
• Proficiency in using documentation tools
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality documentation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
