The FINQ team is composed of 30 exceptional individuals. We recently introduced our first product to the U.S. market and our first product in IL and are poised to maintain this momentum with the planned launch of multiple additional products in 2024.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with expertise in SQL and databases to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure, ensuring efficient and reliable data pipelines and storage solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Create new features from scratch, enhance existing features, and optimize existing functionality
2. Own the data lake pipelines, maintenance, improvements, and schema. 
3. Take charge of our data architecture, lifecycle and pipeline from the 3rd parties we get data from, through the warehouse, to our web application.

Requirements:

1. 4+ years of experience with SQL (Postgres is a plus), data modeling, data warehousing, and building ELT/ETL pipelines – MUST
2. Proven experience in Python
3. Deep understanding of distributed data processing architecture and tools such as Airflow, Kafka and Spark
4. Familiarity with big data technologies is a plus.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Location and Work Environment:

This position is based in our Tel Aviv office (Rothschild St. Area)

We prioritize in-office work to foster collaboration and team synergy (4 days a week from office)
