Engineering Manager Position - Electronics and Computing Field

Location: Rosh HaAyin

Reports to: VP of Operations

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead engineering processes and manage technical teams. Suitable candidates will come from manufacturing companies or the electronics field, with a background in embedded computer systems. The role includes managerial responsibility and technical leadership of various engineering processes, including managing NPI processes and overseeing production processes, ECO and configuration management, and transitioning from development to production of embedded computer systems.

Responsibilities:

• Managing NPI processes for products (servers/communication cabinets) and overseeing production processes
• Managing ECO and configuration management, including End of Life processes
• Transitioning from development to production of embedded computer systems and building validation testing processes
• Building serial production processes and continuous improvement of the engineering team
• Serving as the technical authority at the product level
• Managing NPI teams, automation teams, and cabinet engineering teams

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge and experience in computer hardware/embedded computer systems/servers/multi-server communication cabinets
• 5-10 years of managerial experience in engineering teams, including experience as a team leader with motivation and managerial ability to advance to an engineering management role
• Experience in engineering: product trees, engineering processes, production files, engineering systems, configuration control, transitioning from development to production from NPI stage to serial production
• Practical knowledge of modern software infrastructures - operating systems, virtualization, and monitoring - significant advantage
• Familiarity with storage technologies, communication technologies, cabling of computing and electrical cabinets - significant advantage
• Experience in building production files for complex systems
• Good familiarity with Agile software and PLM management
