Your Role:

As a Business Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. You will collaborate closely with various departments, including risk & finance, operations, and product & marketing, to extract, analyse, and interpret data. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing comprehensive reports, dashboards, and models that inform business strategies and optimise operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Extract, prepare, and analyse data from diverse sources.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive data models and metrics to support business objectives.
• Design, build, and maintain data dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights.
• Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
• Translate complex data into actionable recommendations for business users.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
• Investigate data and processes from a data perspective, proposing enhancements to technical workflows.
• Work closely with the data engineering team to ensure data quality and accessibility.
• Contribute to the development of data-driven strategies and initiatives.

Your Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Data Analyst or in a similar role.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with data manipulation and analysis.
• Experience in data visualisation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.Proficient & clear communications in English
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language.
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Bonus Points:

• Experience in the financial sector, particularly fintech and consumer lending.
• Knowledge of additional analytical tools (Python, R).
• Experience with data governance and data quality initiatives, ETL tools.
• Experience with BI tools (Tableau)
