What We're Looking For

As a Data Engineer at Faye, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring high-quality data is available throughout the organization, by developing and maintaining the services, tools and processes that extract data from various sources and systems and bring them into a centralized data warehouse.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the Data team to design and build a scalable and secure Data Warehouse to support our growing data needs.
• Create robust and flexible data pipelines (ETL and ELT) that can support various data use cases and analytical needs.
• Improve data models that feed business intelligence tools, increasing data accessibility and fostering data-driven decision making across the organization.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into robust data processes.
• Plan and implement data tools that effectively serve both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  
  

• Proven experience (4+ years) as a Data Engineer or similar role
• Hands-on experience in developing end-to-end ETL/ELT processes.
• Expertise in data modeling techniques and proficiency in translating business requirements into efficient data structures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with Snowflake or similar products.
• Hands-on experience with cloud based data-lake and data-warehouse with technologies similar-to/including: AWS, Snowflake, Airflow, DBT, postgresql, Mixpanel, Tableau - an advantage.
• Experience with B2C commerce will be viewed favorably
