QA Engineer

We are offering a unique opportunity for a Quality Assurance (QA) engineer to expand their horizons and grow in a multitude of areas.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Comprehend a complex and diverse system with an array of components.
• Develop your technological skills, especially with Embedded Linux and shell scripting.
• Interact with components that operate based on network protocols such as TCP, UDP, FTP, DNS, ARP, DHCP, HTTP and many others.
• Engage with a variety of network analysis software, including Wireshark packet analysis tool.
• Interact with a variety of technologies such as: SQL databases, JSON, REST API and IoT.
• Spot potential issues through critical thinking and meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute exploratory software tests and build applications using our custom-built Integrated Development Environment to ensure product quality in new and existing products.
• Interact with hardware components as an integral part of the PLC software QA process
• Create detailed and comprehensive test plans.
• Work closely with development teams to resolve defects and anomalies that are discovered.
• Investigate reports of various quality issues, acting as a bridge between Support and Development teams.
• Perform thorough regression tests when bugs are resolved.
• Perform Sanity tests before version releases.

A familiarity with at least one programming language and high-level English proficiency are required.
