System Architect

A profitable global company in the E-commerce sector, developing a solution that enables global merchants to provide a localized shopping experience based on the user's location, and to tailor local payment and settlement options in each country.

Employing 800 employees globally, half of them in Israel, regularly working from home on Sundays and Wednesdays.

The company invests in employee welfare, offering a fitness room, classes at the office, and stock options.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and understand business requirements to create system specifications.
• Design and architect scalable and reliable systems, considering performance, security, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with development teams to guide the implementation of system components.
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies for optimal system performance.
• Ensure alignment of technical solutions with business goals and industry best practices.
• Oversee system integration, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support as needed.
• Conduct regular system reviews to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate technical concepts and project status effectively.

Requirements

• One year of Proven experience as a System Architect or similar role.
• 10 years of Proven experience as a software developer.
• In-depth knowledge of system design, architecture, and integration.
• Strong proficiency in selecting and implementing technologies (hardware, software, networking).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Solid understanding of security, performance, and scalability considerations.
• Excellent verbal and presentation skills - convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, both technical and non-technical.
• Proven experience in system architecture and design.
• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
