Automation Engineer

A global American tech company is developing an innovative and first-of-its-kind solution in the form of a communication satellite that can replace terrestrial antenna towers and provide accessibility and cellular coverage to any place in the world. This is revolutionizing global connectivity thanks to space satellite technology. The company is backed by the world's leading communication giants.

The company has 500 employees globally, with the main R&D center established in Israel, employing 100 people, and expecting significant growth.

Located in central Israel near a train station and offer a hybrid work environment with remote work options.

In the coming year, the company plans to launch five additional satellites that are currently under development.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineers to design, develop, and maintain automation solutions.

• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and C#.

• Assist in creating and maintaining automation test suites for software, HW, and testing.

• Debug and troubleshoot automation scripts to ensure they run smoothly and accurately.

• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with the team to improve code quality and maintainability.

• Document code and processes to ensure clear and comprehensive understanding.

• Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies in automation development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software development, or a related field.

• 5 years of previous experience as a test automation engineer, SW development engineer, or related coding field.

• Previous experience as a test automation engineer.

• Strong interest in automation development and software testing.

• Proficiency in programming languages, including Python and C#.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

• Strong communication skills.

• Self-motivated and eager to learn and grow in the field of automation development.

• Good English skills: speaking, writing, and reading.
