FullStack Team Lead (Node.js, React)

The Role

As a FullStack team leader, you will be a member of R&D management, Take ownership of the Platform, Be facing challenges of serving over big data repositories and the implementation of complex business logic on top of it. Join at an early stage, take part in the core team, make an impact, and grow with the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of your domain.
• Lead the end-to-end development of the platform.
• 95% Hands-on
• Regularly engage in software architecture, development, and testing.
• Tackle complex engineering challenges.
• Effectively manage priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Operate with speed and efficiency.
• Innovate and think creatively.
• Recruit, lead, and mentor, a new team of full-stack developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Provide technical leadership to team members while taking an active part in the team tasks.
• Set clear objectives, provide regular feedback, and facilitate effective communication within the team.

Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in a software engineering role within a high-scale production environment, demonstrating your ability to build systems, troubleshoot production issues, fix bugs, and ensure system stability.
• At least 1 year of experience leading teams.
• Proficiency in React, SQL, Typescript, and NodeJS. Python experience is a plus.
• Solid understanding of architectural patterns for high-scale web applications, including well-designed APIs, optimized database schemas, efficient algorithms, and query patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud Computing platforms, Microservices, Kubernetes, and a deep understanding of scaling and reliability issues.
• A proactive, self-driven approach to getting things done.
• Willingness to take risks and a strong bias for action.
• Startup nature team lead - understand trade offs / efforts / speed
