Main Purpose:

As the Principal IAM Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in steering cross-functional projects to successful outcomes, demonstrating advanced expertise in system performance, scalability, and engineering best practices.

Your innovative mindset and technical leadership will be instrumental in driving new principles and ideas in identity management, resolving complex issues, and providing significant technical influence across multiple teams.

🔹 Key Working Relations: Collaborate closely with the Head of Identity Platforms Engineering, IAM Engineering Team, Security Architects, Governance, & Compliance Teams, Business Users & Vendors, as well as Workplace, Security, & HR Teams to ensure seamless identity data integration and management.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement IAM solutions leveraging SailPoint IdentityNow and Microsoft Entra ID
• Collaborate with teams to define requirements and integrate IAM systems with existing applications
• Manage user identities, roles, and access permissions across multiple platforms
• Develop and enforce IAM policies and procedures to meet security and compliance standards
• Perform access reviews, audits, and risk assessments to maintain security integrity
• Automate IAM processes to enhance efficiency using scripting and automation tools
• Provide expert guidance on IAM issues and lead IAM initiatives
• Stay updated on new IAM technologies and security trends to continually refine practices
• Ensure IAM solutions are aligned with overall IT architecture through cooperation with enterprise architecture teams

🔹 Qualifications and Competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 10+ years of professional experience in engineering, development, security, or related IT field
• 8+ years of experience in 2 or more of the following areas: Identity Lifecycle; Access Governance; Authentication; Cloud Identity Management; Customer IAM; Privileged Access Management
• Experience with one or more IAM platforms (e.g., SailPoint, Savyint, Okta, CyberArk, HashiCorp)
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Amazon ECS, EKS, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell for automation purposes.
• Independent worker and collaborative team player in a dynamic setting
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
