Field Engineer

Join Autobrains, a pioneering AI automotive startup, as a Field Engineer based in Israel who travels to customers globally. This full-time, on-site role offers a dynamic and challenging opportunity to blend software and hardware integration skills within the fast-evolving automotive industry.

Responsibilities:

• Install systems on evaluation and development vehicles.
• Perform and supervise test drives on open roads and test tracks and Provide reports and insights.
• Conduct long test drives and travel globally.
• Represent Autobrains, providing on-site and remote customer support.
• Office work and support at customer sites and integration facilities.
• Inspect and maintain test vehicle malfunctions.
  
  

• Relevant BSc degree.
• Ability to travel abroad as required- Must
• Knowledge and experience with car electricity systems and/ or low voltage systems
• Familiarity with the automotive industry is an advantage.
• Experience with sensors like Camera, Lidar, and Radar is an advantage.
• Experienced with Python3, Bash, and optionally C++.
• Experienced with Linux, Git, Docker, ROS2, and PyQt (or another GUI framework).
• Knowledgeable in basic standard communication protocols such as RS424/232, Ethernet, and Can-bus.
• Strong technical abilities to address and fix issues in cars/labs, including wiring and cable management.
• Knowledge working with integration of software and hardware.
