We are looking for a skilled and experienced Penetration Tester to join our dynamic Information Security team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, with a focus on identifying, assessing, and mitigating security vulnerabilities in our systems and networks. As a Penetration Tester, you will conduct thorough security assessments, perform penetration tests, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance our security posture.

As a Cognyter you will:

• Conduct Security Assessments: Perform detailed security assessments of applications, networks, and systems to identify vulnerabilities.
• Penetration Testing: Execute comprehensive penetration tests, including web application, network, wireless, and social engineering assessments.
• Security Recommendations: Provide practical and effective recommendations to address identified security issues.
• Report Writing: Prepare comprehensive and clear reports detailing findings, exploitation methods, and suggested remediation.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development and operations teams to ensure security best practices are integrated throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and technology developments to enhance testing methodologies.
• Training and Awareness: Assist in security awareness and training.

For that mission you’ll need:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
• Proven track record of identifying and exploiting security vulnerabilities in various environments.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and common application vulnerabilities.
• Scripting and programming skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.).
• Relevant certifications such as OSCP, HDE, or similar or equivalent knowledge and know-how.
• Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and development frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
