Job Description:

As a Senior Backend Python Engineer, you will be a crucial part of our development team, responsible for designing, coding, and debugging our backend infrastructure. You will work extensively with AWS environments, Docker, and Kubernetes, and you will program databases effectively to ensure our systems are robust, scalable, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configuration and Debugging:
• Configure and debug applications within AWS environments.
• Troubleshoot issues and optimize performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Coding and Development:
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Python.
• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs.
• Implement and manage containerized applications using Docker.
• Orchestrate and manage container deployments with Kubernetes.
• Database Management:
• Design, implement, and manage databases to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Write and optimize complex queries for high-performance applications.
• Work with various database technologies as required (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Collaboration and Best Practices:
• Work closely with frontend developers, DevOps, and other team members to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Follow and enforce best practices in code development, testing, and deployment.

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with backend development - 5 years minimum.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda).
• Proficient in Docker for containerization.
• Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Solid understanding of database design and programming (SQL and NoSQL databases).

Experience:

• Proven experience in configuring, debugging, and coding in AWS environments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and deploy containerized applications.
• Strong background in database management and optimization.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with microservices architecture.
