R&D Team Member (Part-Time, Maternity Leave Replacement)

Location: Rosh Ha'ain Afek Industrial Park

Starting: September 2024

Duration: 9 months (with an option for extension)

Workload: 70% (part-time)

Company Overview: Join our innovative start-up, specializing in novel applications of nanocarriers for food and drug products. We are a dynamic, versatile company seeking a skilled and hands-on researcher to join our R&D team as a maternity leave replacement.

Role Description: As an R&D Team Member, you will be an integral part of our research team, responsible for executing and analyzing experiments in line with our defined work plan and timelines. Your primary tasks will include planning and executing experiments, analyzing results, troubleshooting, and optimizing assays. Additional responsibilities may arise to maintain daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and analyze experiments according to a defined work plan.
• Independently plan, execute, and troubleshoot experiments.
• Optimize assays and maintain operational tasks.
• Report to the Head of R&D.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant science field (Master's degree preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech research.
• Proficient in operating laboratory equipment.
• Strong writing skills for preparing SOPs, protocols, and reports.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in analytical techniques, particularly HPLC, UV-Vis, liquid extraction, particle analysis, and titration methods.
• Experience in formulations development
• Familiarity with animal research.
• Familiarity with GMP and GLP regulations.

• Hands-on, tech-savvy with a start-up spirit.
• Strong social skills, good communication, and teamwork abilities.
