Student position- C# Developer for ATE Team

We are seeking a motivated and talented C# Developer for ATE Team to join our Automated Test Equipment (ATE) team. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for a computer science or engineering student to gain practical experience in software development, specifically in the area of automated testing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain C# applications for our ATE systems.
• Testing and Debugging: Write and execute test scripts to ensure software functionality and reliability. Debug and resolve issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with Team: Work closely with other team members, including senior developers and test engineers, to ensure integration and alignment of software with hardware testing systems.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain documentation for developed software, including user guides, technical specifications, and test cases.
• Integration of HW & SW Modules: Ensure seamless integration between hardware and software modules.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in software development and automated testing.

Requirements:

• Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in C# and .NET framework. Familiarity with object-oriented programming principles.
• Test Equipment Knowledge: Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, network analyzers, digital multimeters (DMM), and Keysight instruments.
• Software Tools: Experience with National Instruments' TestStand and LabVIEW.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to document technical details clearly and concisely.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for Technology: Eagerness to learn and apply new technologies and methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ATE Systems: Prior experience or coursework related to automated test equipment is a plus.
• Additional Programming Languages: Knowledge of other programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or SQL.
• Development Tools: Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), integrated development environments (IDEs), and other software development tools.
• Hardware Knowledge: Basic understanding of electronic circuits and hardware interfacing.
