Field Systems Technician / Engineer

The position is focused on field deployed systems activities (installation, support, repair etc.) - with direct connection and coordination with customers and end-users, including the coordination of subcontractors for additional assistance.

Responsibilities

Constitute Point of Contact for the customers

1. Maintaining the continuous contact with the various clients
2. Managing a constant record of customer inquires
3. Verifying the compliance of the production with the customers' requests
4. Developing and preparing training documentation
5. Carrying out the trainings to the customers and the organization

Field installations

1. Preparing the systems for the field deployment (configuration, mounting etc.)
2. Ensuring the systems' readiness for the field installation
3. Taking care of the deployed systems faults and malfunctions
4. Monitoring and supervision on cellular plans and usage in the field

Peripheral technical support

1. Production floor technicians support
2. Production engineer support

Qualifications

1. PE / Technician in Electronics / Electrooptic / Mechanics or relevant operational field experience
2. Strong technical background in IT realm, specifically ETH and cellular communication
3. Broad technical skills operating technological products and systems
4. Operational versatility - formulating and writing documents, engaging customers and end users, ability for mechanical hands-on work.
5. Self-study ability
6. Ability to support customer abroad (flying to the customer sites once in a while)
7. Human relations - ability to manage a strong relationship with the clients (mostly of a military nature)
