Engineering Manager

Dreamteam is looking for a highly skilled and hands-on R&D Manager to lead our small but super strong R&D team. As a R&D Manager at DreamTeam, you will be crucial in developing innovative and complex products with sophisticated UI/UX. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive the technical and product direction of DreamTeam PeopleOS, ensuring it continues to revolutionize the HR tech industry.

• Lead and manage a small, high-performing R&D team with a focus on scaling the team as the company grows.
• Drive the design, development, and implementation of complex products with sophisticated UI/UX.
• Provide strong hands-on technical leadership and mentorship to the R&D team.
• Collaborate with product, design, and other teams to define technical requirements and deliver high-quality features.
• Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of our products.
• Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and excellence within the R&D team.
• Lead the hiring and expansion of the R&D team, identifying and attracting top talent to support our growth.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an R&D Manager, R&D Group Lead, R&D Team Lead or similar leadership role in software development.
• Strong hands-on technical skills and the ability to lead by example.
• Extensive experience in designing and developing complex products with sophisticated UI/UX.
• Proficiency in front-end and back-end technologies and frameworks.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
• Previous experience building a web application from scratch.
• Passion for developing products that have a significant impact on users' day-to-day experiences.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach and attention to details.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
