Chief Executive Officer

An innovative startup at the seed stage with a strong venture capital foundation is seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to steer our young and ambitious technology company. The startup offers groundbreaking technology to solve the most difficult challenges in Software Supply Chain Security. It has already closed the first few paying customers with a strong pipeline going into the rest of 2024.

An ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in the tech industry, especially cybersecurity, and a passion for driving growth, encouraging innovation, and leading high-performing teams.

Required Qualifications:

Experience:

• Experience in senior executive roles within the cybersecurity industry of at least 10 years.
• Successful experience managing high-growth technology companies as CEO, COO, CRO, or comparable leadership positions.
• Demonstrated success in scaling a startup and driving significant business growth and experience in a startup or high-growth environment.

Industry Knowledge:

• Deep understanding of cybersecurity trends, technologies, and market dynamics.
• Experience in developing and launching cybersecurity products or services.

Leadership Skills:

• Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and inspire a diverse team of professionals - employees and senior managers.
• Strong strategic thinking and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate a vision and engage stakeholders at all levels.

Driving Sales:

• Develop and execute a robust sales strategy aligned with our business goals.
• Identify market opportunities, target segments, and revenue streams.

Financial Acumen:

• Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Experience in fundraising, investor relations, and managing financial strategies to drive growth.

Operational Expertise:

• Proven track record of operational excellence and implementing effective business processes.
• Experience in scaling operations and managing organizational change in a fast-paced environment.

Business Development:

• Successful track record of identifying and securing strategic partnerships and business opportunities.
• Strong network within the technology and cybersecurity industries.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of international markets and global business strategies.
• Familiarity with compliance and regulatory issues in the cybersecurity sector.
• Technical and/or Product background.
• Understanding of the Application Security market.
