Security Analyst

An integration company specializing in providing communication and cybersecurity services and solutions. The company works with over 400 companies, including major telecom providers and high-tech firms.

About the role

• Investigating real-time events based on managed platforms.
• Connecting, installing, and configuring security systems within organizations, including monitoring them on manufacturer platforms.
• Escalation to Tier 1+2 teams.
• Writing rules to handle cybersecurity incidents and creating operating procedures for the SOC team.
• Responding to security incidents and collaborating with client IT teams.
• Keeping up-to-date with cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors.

Requirements

• Knowledge and familiarity with information security protocols and data communication.
• Familiarity with different operating systems (Windows, Linux) and best security practices.
• Knowledge, familiarity, and experience in implementing perimeter firewall solutions from manufacturers like Palo Alto and Fortinet.
• Knowledge, familiarity, and experience in implementing EDR/XDR solutions from manufacturers like Palo Alto Cortex and CrowdStrike.
• Knowledge and experience in implementing email protection solutions from manufacturers like Cisco and Fortinet.
• Knowledge and experience in investigating security incidents and proficiency in event investigation tools using various platforms.
• Familiarity with SIEM solutions (Splunk, Fortinet).
