Financial Controller - French speaker (MUST)

Our client is a well-established global manufacturing company, an innovative market leader for over 40 years. The company is highly successful, with multiple manufacturing facilities and subsidiaries world-wide. The company is now looking for a Financial Controller to be responsible for financial reporting and accounting for the company's branch in France. Direct reporting to the group CFO in Israel.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and structure the financial aspects of the manufacturing site, providing key financial data to the local and global finance and management teams.
• Ensure delivery of timely reports and payments to third parties
• Identify financial risks and opportunities and drive necessary action plans
• Analyze and prepare regular financial reports, results and forecasts to local and HQ corporate management team.
• Enforce and track accuracy of physical inventory and reported results
• Ensure administrating of payroll needs are done according to local laws and regulations.
• Ensure adherence to GAAP

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and a CPA.
• 1-4 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting
• Experience of the annual reporting and planning cycles, financial controls and systems
• Experience in the manufacturing industry – advantage
• Versatile communication style, ability to present data to all levels in the organization
• Knowledge of ERP system – an advantage
• Languages: English and French professional proficiency – MUST
• Willing to travel regularly to France - MUST
