We are looking for a sharp and passionate Data Analyst to join our top-notch data analytics team.

In your role you’ll be responsible for developing, publishing, and fine-tuning the analytics and reporting requirements for the Global Risk team. This role also has scope for developing risk models for our existing portfolio of merchants to mitigate the existing financial risk. You’ll be a key member of the team working in a fast-paced environment on impactful assignments with the exposure to work directly with senior management across the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze customer lifecycle stages including acquisition, portfolio management, and collections, providing actionable insights on portfolio performance
• Develop and maintain the risk models used to manage customer credit and fraud risk in Rapyd, including exposure and default methodologies, and associated behavioral measures
• Create Looker dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics, trends, and performance indicators
• Advise business and stakeholders on model usage, impact, and implementation
• Support business operations by resolving inquiries and providing ad-hoc insights into portfolio strategies
• Design, development, and maintenance of analytical solutions related to Rapyd risk

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of professional work experience as a Risk/Fraud/Business/Data Analyst
• High proficiency in SQL and experience in querying large and complex data sets - a must
• Strong skills in Python for data analysis - a must
• Experienced with BI and data visualization tools - a must
• Knowledge of payment ecosystem and risk fields - a big advantage
• Working experience in building analytical solutions and predictive models
• Manage multiple tasks at a time in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional ability to understand data and to transform it into insights
• Team player with strong storytelling skills
• Strong communication skills and fluent English
• BA/BSc in Statistics/Industrial Engineering/Economics or other quantitative fields
