Senior Backend Engineer

What is the role?

• Develop, test, and deploy new features and enhancements for our AI-driven platform.
• Build and manage robust data pipelines to support analytics and AI functionalities.
• Work closely with the Analytics and Applied AI team, as well as collaborate with R&D teams from other products within the company.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and guide other team members.
• Optimize and maintain existing codebase, ensuring high performance and scalability.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and improve development processes.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating them into your work where applicable.
  
  

• At least 6 years of experience in backend development
• Extensive experience with the Python ecosystem and familiarity with nodejs
• Solid understanding of cloud services, in particular AWS services.
• Proven experience working with Data platform tools like Databricks, airflow and spark
• Familiarity with containers and K8s
• Experience with Agile development process and automated testing
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, delivery-driven environment
• Ability to collaborate with a variety of teams: product, design and occasionally go-to-market teams
  
  

• Designed and built a POC or product/service from the ground up or architected a product/service in your current or previous roles
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in the developer community.
