Senior Backend Engineer

The opportunity

Unity is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Backend Stack Developer to join our R&D team. We are in search of a detail-oriented professional who can lead the development and enhancement of our internal tools and platforms critical to departments across Unity.

What You'll Be Doing

• Work as part of a Full Stack agile team, working in high velocity, delivering great quality products and solutions
• Constantly design, implement and innovate features, with cutting-edge technologies (AWS, Terraform, CI/CD)
• Be responsible for both backend and frontend design and implementation of major features and new services
• Work closely with the product, architects, DevOps and automation teams
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Experience of server side development in Node.js.
• Deep knowledge and understanding of web based products architecture and experience in building large scale products
• Strong knowledge of architectural principles, coding standards, design patterns and best practices
• Excellent interpersonal skills, we’re looking for a real team player
• Be an independent self-learner, responsible and curious
