Mechanical Designer

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Design and engineering of innovative mechanical systems and units, while also creating functional models, assembling components, and producing detailed technical drawings.
• Undertake redesigns of existing systems and units to optimize functionality.
• Develop assembly drawings and provide clear, step-by-step instructions for assembly.
• Act as the technical point of contact between the company and external suppliers, manufacturers, and contractors.
• Manage project time effectively to ensure efficient progress and meet deadlines across multiple projects.



Job Requirements:

• Degree in Practical Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 2-5 years of experience in mechanical design with SolidWorks software
• Expertise in creating and interpreting engineering drawings, including a strong understanding of GD&T.
• Proven ability in mechanical innovation and problem-solving within design constraints.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to produce detailed technical documentation and specifications.
• Strong negotiation skills to handle complex design discussions with suppliers.
• Knowledge of different manufacturing processes, coating, and treatment types and methods.
• Ability to work well within a team as well as independently, with a results-driven, open-minded approach.
• Fluent in English and Hebrew, with proficiency in both speaking and writing.
