About Loops Lab: Are you passionate about music and technology? We are an early-stage startup in the music toy tech industry dedicated to transforming the way kids and families experience music through play. We are aiming to build a strong global brand quickly and at scale and are looking for a versatile hands-on marketing professional who can build the marketing function from the ground up. You will wear multiple hats and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment building and focusing on 3 different tracks:
1. Brand Strategy: You will develop and refine the brand identity, voice, and positioning in the market ensuring the brand resonates with our target audience and stands out in the competitive landscape.
2. Product Marketing: You will bridge the gap between product development and the market and will be responsible for: positioning, messaging, go-to-market strategies, and helping customers understand the value of our product.
3. PR & Influencer Marketing: You will build awareness and foster a community around the Loops Lab brand through social media, public relations and influencer partnerships to amplify brand awareness and credibility.
Skills & Attributes we are looking for:
Brand Management: Brand development, storytelling, market research, and content strategy to build a strong, cohesive brand presence that connects emotionally with our audience and differentiates our product.
Product Marketing: Product positioning, customer insights, go-to-market strategy, and cross-functional collaboration.
PR strategy: Media relations, influencer marketing, event planning, and communication skills with an ability to develop social media strategies, content creation (graphic design, video editing), copywriting, and community management to generate buzz, engage our audience, and maintain an active online presence that aligns with our brand.
Speed and Flexibility: Startup experience and mindset, flexibility and adaptability, the ability to work under tight deadlines, and the ability to work with a dynamic, evolving strategy.
Data-Driven Approach: You are capable of using analytics to guide decisions and optimize marketing efforts.Creativity & Innovation: You can develop unique, engaging marketing collateral that capture the essence of our product.
Hands-On approach: You will be willing to dive into execution rather than just strategy, given the need for rapid action.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience leading and collaborating in a matrix team - managing projects and people in diverse, cross-functional and international teams.
- At least 5 years of leading and developing growth and marketing strategy for a B2B2C company/start-up
- Experience and familiarity with relevant marketing tools, software, partners and best practices
- Effective communication skills and an adaptive interpersonal style
- Sound problem solving and decision-making abilities, creative and innovative thought processes, initiative and self-motivation
- Proven ability to influence and negotiate internally and externally
- Fast learner and adapter
- Native English speaker - preferred
- Superb presentations skills (in English)
- Available to travel for work and work with the US
