Development Manager

A leading insurance company located in Petah Tikva needs a development department manager.

Responsibilities

• Management of 3 development teams

• Implementation of the work plan and management of project activity

• Leading change processes in the department - from the level of development, project management and testing

• Ongoing management in front of the headquarters client, working closely with the client and presenting the products to the management

• Management of work plans, planning, monitoring, implementation, schedule and budget management

• Working and managing the interfaces with teams in the division that include - extensive work with BRM and general insurance mechanization team, infrastructures, testing team, customer representatives, and other areas in Migdal Technologies

• Management of the subcontractors from a professional and budgetary point of view

Qualifications

Mandatory requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in similar management positions in a large financial organization (no flexibility!), and proven management ability from at least two different organizations

• Holder of a bachelor's degree from an academic institution in engineering, computer science, or another relevant degree

• Experienced in a multi-project environment

• High expressiveness in writing and on paper, assertiveness, management resilience, and working according to procedures

• Proven management experience, capable of leading processes, leading change processes, planning and analyzing complex systems

• Leadership ability, ability to prioritize tasks under workloads in a dynamic environment, conflict management, ability to deal with objections and work with multiple interfaces

• Ability to mentor and accompany new employees, locate and nurture talents, integrate between employees, and be sensitive to conflicts
