Y-DATA is an intensive one-year career advancement program in data science that bridges the gap between short-term online courses and a full-time MSc-level program. Y-DATA is designed by top-notch experts from the academy and the industry and taught at Tel Aviv University campus. The program is localized to enhance the Israeli tech community and the global AI ecosystem.

Community Managers play a vital role as the biggest cheerleaders for our students! They ensure a pleasant and enjoyable study environment by maintaining frequent communication and checking on students' well-being and study progress. From the moment students join us until graduation, SMs accompany them throughout their academic journey and become their biggest supporters and advocates for their success.
What you will do:
Communication
- Ongoing, daily availability to students for questions, personal needs, real-time detection of problems and difficulties, dropout and covert dropout prevention;
- Hold interviews with students: feedback sessions about the program, interviews before a student takes a break or leaves the program;
- Recruitment of students for the Y-DATA program, including initiated phone calls to promising candidates;
- Build and develop the community of students on Discord;
- Posting and publishing newsletters, updates and other course-related information on social media, students and alumni groups etc.
- Managing the process of application and registration for Y-DATA main course and other educational activities;
- Payments management, connecting the ADC tech financial team and Y-DATA students, staff and providers. Assisting students with the required paperwork for various grants;
- Organize and hold events - onboarding, classes, graduation, live meetings with tutors and other speakers. Online and offline.
- Update information about academic breaks, expulsions;
- Calculate statistics about students’ progress, create and help testing hypotheses about improving the learning process.
- Onboarding and management of lecturers, mentors and TAs, including the formalization of contracts, hour reports and payments. availability for personal requests problems and. Introducing teaching staff to tools and formats used in the Y-DATA, including virtual learning environments;
- Participate in team meetings, provide insights on the learning process. Since our SMs are the ones communicating with students, they know their best what problems students face, how they feel about the program, etc.;
- Send students’ feedback to the team members, updates from team members to the students.
- Project recruitment - reaching out to alumni and industry partners and scheduling preliminary project discussions.
- Project administration - supplying and receiving all the required legal documents for the project.
- Project management - following projects’ progress and making sure it is in accordance with both the company and the Y-DATA timeline. maintaining and improving the interface between students, companies and mentors. Ongoing monitoring of progress and recognising potential problems in the workflow.
- Availability to visit office in Tel Aviv twice a week.
- Fluency in English is a Must. Fluency in Hebrew, Russian, Arabic would be an advantage.
- You’re a fast learner - we conduct a lot of experiments, often change our processes, it’s ok not to know something but it’s necessary to learn and adapt fast.
- You’re careful with numbers and analytics (Google Office, especially Excel, Notion, Miro) - a success manager calculates some statistics and collects certain data manually. It requires patience and attention to numbers.
- You love helping and caring about people - our Community managers are always there to help our students, check up on their motivation and ask for their feedback.
- You thrive in a fast changing environment and are good at lateral problem solving.
- Technological background.
- Familiarity with basic DS-related concepts and terminology would be an advantage.
- Creative writing
- Hybrid full-time role;
- Employment or contract role;
- Compensations of 100 shekels gross hourly as a contractor's role OR 75 shekels per per as an employment position;

- A comfortable digital office. We use modern digital tools — Miro, Notion, Google Meet, etc.— to make the process of working together seamless.
