Job Description

JobTestPrep seeks a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Engineer (.NET) to join our talented R&D team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in designing and deploying resilient, scalable systems and a strong knowledge of cloud computing, software development, and architectural best practices.

In this role, you will design and lead new epics, act as a code review gatekeeper, and ensure all development activities meet quality standards, striving for excellence. As the team's north star, you will provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and engineers, to deliver robust and scalable solutions. Additionally, you will continuously monitor and optimize backend services' performance to ensure high availability and responsiveness.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a correlated field.
• Experience in software architecture (as an architect or software principle engineer)
• Proven production experience to implement Microservices Architecture and patterns
• Good knowledge in Event Driven Design / Domain Driven Design / Object Oriented Design principle
• 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience with consumer-facing production systems.
• 5+ years of technology leadership experience utilizing industry-leading stacks
• Product processes expertise: Agile, Cloud CI/CD, testing & testing automation
• Experience developing mission-critical products

Technology stack and Dev tools

• C# .Net at least 5 years experience - must
• AWS Cloud serverless services - API-Gateway, Lambda, SNS, SQS, - must
• SQL Server orPostgreSQL, DynamoDB, OpenSearch other RDBMS  - must
• Vue.js or React - one of them must
• Javascript / ECMAScript 6 / TypeScript  - must
• Bitbucket DevOps, AWS DevOps tools  - nice to have
• Python - big advantage
