Mechanical Testing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Conduct experiments on newly designed components and systems.
• Design the testing of systems, including thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics.
• Accompany production processes.
• Test definition and results analysis: Mechanical (random vibration, shock, etc.), assembly, heat transfer, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, static, etc.
• Conduct lead failures, root cause analysis, and FMEA processes.
• Correlate models vs reality to improve company experience.
• Manage internal and external projects and contracts while collaborating with internal teams (R&D, Industrialization, Projects, Simulation, etc.).
• Mechanical dynamic simulation (crash/crush).

Qualifications

• A mechanical engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Knowledge of various analytical methods and data analysis.
• Deep knowledge of sensors, controls, and thermodynamic system components (compressors, EXV, pumps, etc..).
• Ability to read production and assembly drawings.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Open-minded, flexible, and creative.
• Professional English – both verbal and written.
• Problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Willingness to be flexible and multi-task as a member of a small team and able to work resourcefully.
• Knowledge of working according to automotive/military standards - advantage.
