Role Description-

• Serving as a Mechanical Design Engineer (Hybrid Propulsion & UAVs), taking end-to-end technical ownership over the detailed design, analysis, and validation of engine components and hybrid powertrain assemblies for unmanned airborne platforms.
• Driving hands-on project execution across all stages: from initial concept generation and detailed CAD modeling through prototyping, laboratory bench testing, field trials, and integration.
• Collaborating closely within a multidisciplinary engineering squad (Mechanical, Electronics, Firmware/Software, and CAD teams) to align system interfaces and optimize weight, thermal management, and power-to-weight ratios.
• Executing hands-on engine testing, telemetry acquisition, data evaluation, and structural/functional troubleshooting during bench runs and flight tests.
• Demonstrating technical leadership and creative problem-solving on innovative product lines, with a direct pathway to grow into a Development Team Lead role as the team scales.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution – Mandatory
• Proven mechanical design engineering experience within the Defense or UAV / Unmanned Systems sector – Mandatory
• Expert, high-level mastery of SolidWorks, including advanced part modeling, complex assemblies, drawings, and product data management (PDM) – Mandatory
• Strong hands-on engineering mindset, with direct involvement in hardware prototyping, bench testing, and system-level validation – Mandatory
• Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and collaborative skills within multidisciplinary environments – Mandatory
• Natural technical leadership attributes and management potential – Mandatory
• Fluent technical communication skills in English (written and verbal) – Mandatory
