Machine Learning Engineer

A startup in the Fintech field that has developed an AI/ML system to assist in decision-making and risk management in the areas of loans and investments for growing startup companies, thereby transforming the process of lending to large companies.

The technology is patented and capable of predicting future revenues, cash flow status, client's repayment ability, and more.

The company has sites in London, the USA, and other locations, and is funded by large, well-known investors, currently with over $150M. They are growing and offer competitive and excellent conditions.

The company is located in Tel Aviv, near a train line, has 100 employees, and includes one work-from-home day per week.

Role Description:

• The position can either be part of a team or involve professional leadership of the MLE team (assigned based on fit and preference).
• This team handles ML engineering tasks in the deployment to production phase and works closely with data scientists on deliverables.
• The focus is on improving model performance, accuracy, AI/ML pipelines, and working with both tabular and textual data, including an LLM-based bot.
• Coding is done in Python with Pandas, NumPy, and MLOps.
• In the leadership aspect, the role involves being the knowledge and professionalism focal point for the team, implementing technologies, setting professional challenges, and acting as the bridge between the production environment and the data science work.

Requirements-

• 5 years of hands-on experience in engineering with Python
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate the complexities of AI and LLM integration
• Degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or equivalent experience
• Profound analytical skills and true love for data
• PhD/MSc in exact sciences - an advantage
