Quality Assurance Engineer

The Role

As a leader in compliance software and online learning, VinciWorks is looking for a talented Quality Assurance Engineer with a passion for thorough testing and verifying software functionality. The primary focus of this full-time position is manual testing, but experience with automated testing and proficiency with tools such as Selenium is a big advantage. The successful candidate will also be responsible for triaging, investigating, and adding detail to Jira tickets before they are passed on to the development team.

On any given day, you might be sitting with our support team to debug a production issue,  identifying potential regressions in new versions, and contributing to a seamless user experience. You will be responsible for verifying the functionality of products across multiple software systems as part of a dynamic and fast-paced software development team. You'll be supported by our development team to bring your expertise to the compliance conversation as part of a high-growth business that values precision and reliable software.

VinciWorks has been a pioneer in compliance for 20 years. This role is an opportunity for a dedicated Quality Assurance Engineer to bring top-notch software products to hundreds of international clients.

We are a hybrid team working across Israel, the UK and Ireland. Our main office is in Jerusalem at the Technology Park in Malcha. This role is based in Israel, either Hybrid or working in the Jerusalem office. Working days Sunday - Thursday.

• Perform manual testing on various software applications to ensure they meet the requirements and specifications

• Sign off on new software releases on 2-week release cycles

• Create and execute test cases and test plans for manual testing

• Identify, report, and track bugs and issues

• Triage, investigate, and add detail to Jira tickets before they are passed on to the development team

• Collaborate with development team to ensure timely resolution of issues

• Participate in daily stand-up meetings and sprint planning meetings

• Write and maintain automated test scripts using testing tools such as Selenium

• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies

• Strong experience in software testing (at least 2 years)

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Experience working with Jira or similar bug tracking software

• Native-level English or equivalent

• Familiarity with Agile methodology

• Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Cucumber

The salary range for this position is 9,000 to 13,000 shekel per month.
