Engineering Manager

An American global company has developed a platform for managing internal organizational processes. It's a large, cloud-based platform with various products, serving as a one-stop shop.

The company is profitable, consistently increasing its profits year after year, with a massive customer base of around 10,000 active clients.

About the role

• The role involves flat management of a team of 8 Frontend developers.
• Development is primarily in React.
• Integration with Java/JS/C++/Ruby in the Backend.
• The role reports to the Director of Engineering.
• Includes global work with the company’s clients.
• Supporting development.
• Providing professional assistance to developers.
• Making the code accessible to other teams in the company.
• Working with various teams located in India, Europe, and the USA.
• Overall responsibility for the company’s Frontend features.
• Up to 20% hands-on work in React.

Requirements-

• 6 years of experience with technologies relevant to SN and advanced coding skills
• Experience with open-source tools and agile development environments
• Fluency in one or more relevant programming language (Java, C++, Ruby. Shell, JavaScript)
• An understanding of broad concepts and experience using those concepts to understand and develop solutions for problems
• Ability to execute a project based on our priorities, context, risks and desired outcomes
