Backend Team Lead

A cybersecurity company specializing in defensive measures that help thousands of organizations worldwide build cyber defense strategies, block real-time attacks, and recover from cyberattacks. They work with executives, directors, IT teams, and cyber researchers from leading companies globally, including Fortune 500 companies.

Founded in 2015 and acquired in 2018 by an investment firm, they have since doubled their value and continue to aim for an IPO. A profitable and highly successful company.

Role Essence: Managing a single development key, reporting to the VP, 100% hands-on. Developing low-level code in Rust and Python, focusing on agent development. This new team within the company is crucial for the product and sets the company apart from competitors.

Tech Stack: Rust, Python, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, Linux, Windows

Located in Tel Aviv near the train line, they operate on a hybrid model, spending two days in the office. They have around 230 employees, with 180 based in Israel.

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience with Rust / C / C++ or other low-level programming languages

• 2 years of experience developing in Python

• Experience with research and development for operating systems - Windows / Linux / macOS

• Experience with various data stores such as PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Snowflake, Redis etc.

• Be a collaborative team player who enjoys working in a dynamic environment

•Excellent communication skills, including strong ability to elaborate on a technical idea
