Researcher – drug discovery

Biolojic Design, Ltd. is a leading biotech company, located in Rehovot, that uses machine learning and AI technologies to create superior drugs for cancer and autoimmune disorders by programming antibodies to become dynamic functional switches that affect biology in new ways.

We are seeking a motivated researcher to join one of our leading programs as a key player in the drug discovery department and contribute to the discovery of a novel therapeutic. As a project researcher, you will significantly contribute to assay development, antibody engineering and in-vitro antibody characterization using cell-based assays.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and execute experiments using yeast display technology to screen and engineer antibodies of interest.
• Design and execute cell-based assays to evaluate protein interactions, binding affinities, and functional properties.
• Analyze and interpret experimental data to drive decision-making and project progression.
• Contribute to the development of research plans, protocols, and project timelines.
• Stay current with scientific literature and contribute to the development of intellectual property.

Requirements:

• MSc in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with display techniques – advantage
• Hands-on experience with flow cytometry (including FACS) - advantage
• Proficiency in molecular biology techniques such as PCR, cloning, and DNA sequencing.

·        Proficiency in performing cell-based assays and tissue culture techniques.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
