Verax AI is enabling companies to adopt Generative AI by providing a Control Center for all of their Generative AI solutions. This Control Center supervises the Generative AI activity in the organization, providing the customer with visibility into it, as well as auto-correcting arising issues before they can impact end-users. This allows Verax AI to serve as the gatekeeper, ensuring Trust, Correctness, Visibility, Compliance, and Governance of the next generation of software.

Summary:

Verax AI has just raised its second VC funding round we’re continuing to grow our engineering team. We are now looking for our first Senior Engineering Manager to manage the company’s entire engineering team, including data sciences, research, software development and release management. Join us and lead the way in harnessing the potential of Generative AI to solve real-world problems. What You'll Do:

• Lead Multiple Teams: As a Senior Engineering Manager, you'll direct several teams, including data sciences, research and software development.
• Architect Robust Solutions: Apply your cloud technology expertise to design and scale secure, high-performance backend systems suitable for large enterprises.
• Hands-On Technical Leadership: As a hands-on Senior Engineering Manager, you will engage in writing and reviewing code, and contributing to design and architecture.
• Boost Security and Trust: Strengthen our platform’s security, enhance trust, and comply with industry standards to tackle enterprise security challenges effectively.
• Foster Excellence: Build a culture of learning and innovation, encouraging teamwork, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.

Who We're Looking For:

• Experienced Leader: Proven track record as a group lead, motivating multiple teams in high-tech or software development environments to surpass their goals.
• World-class Software Developer: Proven experience of hands-on developing complex software products
• Cloud Technology Expert: Proficient with AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud, adept at deploying, scaling, and managing cloud applications to create scalable solutions that address business needs.
• Skilled Communicator: Effective at conveying complex technical concepts across diverse groups, ensuring team alignment and collaboration.
• Problem Solver: Strong analytical skills, capable of tackling challenges and leading teams to find efficient and secure solutions.
• Team Builder: Committed to fostering a collaborative environment, promoting growth, mutual respect, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• At least 7 years of experience as a software developer in top notch companies, solving complex problems
• At least 3 years of experience as a manager in successful early stage startup companies
• At least 1 year of experience being a manager of managers
• At least 1 year of having end-to-end responsibility of a software product running in production (including QA, releases management and on-call management)
• In depth understanding of cloud technologies - an advantage
• Hands-on experience with ML or LLM - an advantage
