About the Role

As a Data Engineer with us, you will:

• Architect and Develop: Shape the overall architecture of our data pipelines and ensure they meet our high-performance standards.
• ETL Mastery: Develop sophisticated ETLs to handle a wide array of structured and unstructured data sources.
• Data Modelling: Design robust and efficient data models (ERDs) to manage billions of data points effortlessly.
• Innovate with ML: Create advanced machine learning algorithms for diverse applications including NLP, image recognition, anomaly detection, and beyond.
• Big Data Services: Implement scalable services that can manage vast amounts of data with ease.
• Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work closely with our product managers to identify and implement the best solutions.
• Team Synergy: Collaborate with our engineering team to design and launch innovative features in an agile environment.

Your Experience and Skills

To thrive in this role, you should bring:

• Proven Expertise: 5+ years of experience with Java or Python.
• ETL Development: 2+ years of hands-on experience in developing ETLs.
• Streaming Solutions: Experience with Apache Kafka or other streaming technologies.
• Big Data Technologies: Familiarity with Hadoop and Spark.
• Caching Proficiency: Experience with Redis or Memcached.
• Leadership: Ability to transform business challenges into actionable plans and lead their execution.
• Creative Problem-Solving: A knack for tackling complex and unfamiliar problems independently.
• Best Practices: Commitment to solving hard problems with TDD and clean code.
• Experience in AI and natural language processing. - Advantage
• Knowledge of graph database systems. - Advantage
